MASOOR DAL

- 1 cup masoor dal
- 1 and 1/2 cup water
- 1 small size chopped onion
- 1 small size choppped tomato
- 2 green chillies (as per taste)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp mustard oil

Procedure:

- Put 1 cup of masoor dal with 1 and 1/2 cup of water in a pressure cooker
- Add little salt and turmeric powder and pressure cook it for 5 to 7 minutes
- In a pan put 1 tbsp mustard oil
- Put chopped onions and green chilies and fry till onion gets tender
- Add tomatoes and cook till it gets soft
- Put boiled dal into the pan
- Give a boil and check the consistency
- You can add water if needed
- Simmer it for 2 to 3 minutes
- And your dal is ready to serve
